Lucas‘s attention to detail is exactly what I look for.
I had Lucas come in to refinish my kitchen floor. He also did some minor repair work. His work was excellent! You couldn’t tell where any of the repairs were made. Also, he had discovered that we had white oak flooring as opposed to red oak flooring and made some recommendations as to how to finish it properly. We ultimately went with an invisible clear finish which looks fantastic! Lucas‘s attention to detail is exactly what I look for when I choose a contractor (which is very rarely). Lucas will be returning to refinish the rest of our floors in our home.

Did the job quickly, efficiently and well.
We needed a small repair done on a broken floorboard in our stairwell. When I called Right Step Flooring - the phone call was picked up immediately and Lucas did a great job of listening to my problem and suggesting a couple solutions to help me decide on what would work best. I did not have to wait long for an appointment, Lucas was very prompt, did the job quickly, efficiently and well. I appreciated that I did not feel pushed to get the repair done in any specific way and while different priced solutions and methods were suggested - with their pros and cons - I did not feel pressured or upsold. After completing the repair, Lucas cleaned up, and was on his way leaving me with a beautiful and functional floor where I had a loose floorboard less than 2 hours before. Next time I need any job, big or small, on my floor, I'm sure I'll be calling Right Step Flooring first.

Lucas was amazing. Fair price and very professional. He matched the wood that was underneath 4 layers of linoleum tile to the rest of our floors. Lucas literally transformed the dining room floor in my 108 year old home. My original flooring can only be described as a disaster as it had many holes, no finish left as well as paint splattered everywhere from previous owners failing to use drop cloths. I was embarrassed to have anyone in my dining room because of the floor. After completion, you would not even recognize this as the same floor. It is absolutely beautiful! Prior to this job I had many concerns regarding dust remaining all over my house from the sanding. I was amazed that there was no dust in my home. I cannot say enough good things about Lucas and the meticulous job that he did. He is pleasant to work with and shows a maturity and work ethic beyond his years. As my budget permits, I will definitely be hiring him for additional jobs in my home. He is very reasonably priced and is very quick to give a turnaround estimate.

Lucas did such a terrific job. The home builders basically threw the floor down on the concrete slab without sealing it,or leveling the concrete.Not only did Lucas replace the flooring but thin coated the concrete so it was level, waterproofed the concrete so it wouldn't get wet again. Lucas went above expectations to assure we wouldn't have that problem agai. Please if you need flooring work done, do yourself a favor and give Lucas a call.
